I can’t help it. Anniversaries make me sentimental.
So, I hope you’ll pardon me as I raise a glass to our first two years as a company. Two years doesn’t seem like very long. Yet in that short span of time, it boggles my mind how much we’ve managed to accomplish.
We’ve merged seven managed IT services companies—all successful in their own right—into one cohesive company.
We’ve standardized corporate culture, management practices, accounting, and customer service procedures across five markets, nationwide.
We’ve brought 170 employees aboard who are managing day to day IT operations for more than 500 customer companies.
Has it been a lot of work? Yes. Has it been worth it? Definitely.
By bringing all these managed service companies together under one corporate umbrella, we’ve been able to offer the kind of 24/7 service structure that other MSPs can only dream of. Now, our customers have the best of both worlds—the high-touch, personal service you get from a hometown MSP, with the power of having an enormous technician team available nationwide. When you see “Better Together” on our website and our materials, it’s not just a slogan. It’s written in our corporate DNA—and the foundation of how we do business, and the reason we exist at all.
Looking ahead to the next two years
Over the next few years we hope to double our size. And while we are expanding the size of our team, and possibly expanding the size of our corporate footprint, we’re not expanding our market focus. We’re still a company that’s dedicated to serving small and medium-sized businesses. We’re committed to offering enterprise-level IT services and support, scaled for the smaller customer.
Our 24/7 security operations center (SOC) is a prime example of this, giving us the ability to continuously monitor customer network security and service asks around the clock. It’s all part of our continuous drive to make customer service localized, efficient and personable in an industry that’s hardly known for being warm and fuzzy.
In the coming years, expect to see us announce more services like this: more tools, more turnkey service packages, and more opportunity to help your IT operations run faster, smarter, and safer.
And expect to see our employees leading the way, as they always do. You’ll find them moving fast, changing the tires while the car is moving, and responding at the speed of tech. I know they’ll be rising to the challenge.
