PROVIDYN INSTALLS NEW COMPUTERS IN EXAM ROOMS, IMPROVING EFFICIENCY FOR THE ATLANTA HUMAN SOCIETY HOWELL MILL ANIMAL CLINIC

Wall-mounted computers increase efficiency, improve care for the AHS pet hospital
Atlanta – June 25, 2012 – Integris, a provider of IT support, strategy and services for small and medium-sized businesses, announced today it has procured and installed new wall-mounted computers in the exam rooms at the Atlanta Humane Society’s Howell Mill Animal Wellness Clinic. These upgrades come on the heels of the Atlanta Humane Society opening a second location and furthering its partnership with Integris by migrating its technology infrastructure and applications to the private cloud.

After its newest location opened in December, AHS wanted to continue making improvements to its Howell Mill location as well. The Howell Mill Animal Wellness Clinic is a full-service, fully-staffed pet hospital at the Atlanta Humane Society – the city’s only animal welfare organization to have such a program. The new computers will save time and improve efficiency for clinic employees who previously relied on hand writing information and then, later, taking the extra step of data entry.

“Continuing to make upgrades and improvements to our Howell Mill facility will help us operate more efficiently and, in turn, make our clinic an affordable, yet attractive option for pet owners who might not otherwise have the resources to care for their pets,” said Chris Slee, Vice President of Finance for AHS. “Integris has been a reliable partner and continues to uncover ways for us to leverage technology at both AHS facilities.”

“Something as simple as new computers in exam rooms can make a large impact on an organization like AHS,” said Hamish Davidson, president and co-founder of Integris. “Employees will operate more efficiently and have additional time to focus on what is important – caring for animals. As a long-standing partner of AHS, we are always looking for new ways that technology can positively impact the organization.”
