COVID-19 Confusion Exploited by Scammers

Table of contents

Scammers are legitimately trying to take advantage of people online during the Covid-19 crisis.

People who take advantage of other’s in a crisis deserve a special kind of punishment when they’re caught. I think the Spanish Inquisition could give us some guidelines to follow when we go looking for them. That’s why what’s going on right is infuriating.

    • Emails claiming to be from the Center for Disease Control (CDC)
    • Schemes offering free travel refunds

If you’ve been reading our blog you probably already know that these are Phishing attacks and can pretty easily learn to spot them by reading this article:

Until then, try and stay safe, both with your health and otherwise.
