Atlanta, Georgia – February 22, 2017 – Integris®, a provider of IT support, strategy and services for small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofits, recently participated in the HTG Q1 Peer Group Meeting held February 5-10, 2017, at the Hilton Squaw Peak Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. The event, which was kicked off with a Super Bowl gathering, helps technology leaders elevate their management and leadership skills and enhance their levels of professionalism and corporate excellence. At the event, attendees network with peers, collaborate on best practices, share valuable insights acquired and lessons learned, engage in collective problem solving, and more.
“HTG Peer Groups have become highly anticipated motivational events attended by some of the IT industry’s most respected and knowledgeable leaders,” said Integris CEO Hamish Davidson. “This year, the focus was on building a leadership team and developing company culture. The event provided me new inspirations for enriching my corporate and interpersonal leadership skills.”
A highlight of the event, Davidson said, was a Leadership Academy led by Dr. Larry Little, a seasoned visionary, author, entrepreneur and executive coach. During the session, the focus of which was understanding and embracing employee diversity, Little showed attendees how to analyze and understand four different personality types: Monkey, Lion, Camel and Turtle. “I plan to put my entire team through this exercise,” Davidson noted.
In addition to the Leadership Academy, attendees engaged in peer group meetings and attended vendor meetings with topics such as building and growing a cloud practice, financial management and reporting, and annual goal review.
