technology support for business

A tech world without an issue is really impossible to imagine. Although technology makes radical improvements every year and resolves the existing issues it is facing, there is always a new issue in the tech arena. In this article, we will be telling you about some of those issues that have kept the tech industry on the edge.

The first tech issue that made a huge buzz in 2012 is green computing. All the data centers in the world alone consume 5% of total electricity and make a huge impact on the environment. Hence, it has become a burning concern and everyone is looking for an eco-friendly solution to this.

The second tech issue is secured with tablet and mobile computing. While these are really helpful, the risk of losing valuable and confidential data through these devices cannot be discarded. Since they are very easy to steal, data security has always been a great concern.

A third tech issue in 2012 is BYOD or Bring your own device. Although this approach provides freedom for employees and reduces procurement cost for businesses, using different platforms always creates problems in integration.

Another tech issue for the organizations is the switch to cloud computing. Although cloud computing will be beneficial for organizations, they can’t adapt to this technology unless they are fully aware of all the aspects i.e., privacy, security, cost and risks associated with this.

Using mobile apps is also an issue that needs to ensure quality and safety standards for an organization. However, it would be really difficult for organizations to ensure this as there are thousands of applications, and it is not worth it to invest so many resources for a free or $0.99 app.

The use of social networks is yet another tech issue in 2012. Businesses have yet to decide how deep social networks should go and which platform would be the best.

Redundancy of traditional data management tools is also a big concern for the tech industry. The amount of data is rising at a rapid pace, and we will need efficient data and business intelligence tools as soon as possible.

However, the biggest concern in the tech industry is still the security issue which needs immediate resolution.
