Could you describe your role/what you do?
I’m an intern, learning to be an IT tech/Support Desk Technician in Technical Operations.
What is the one thing that you wish other people knew about the work you do?
Being in IT is often a very thankless job; but can be very rewarding when you see how much it helps other people achieve that “Ah hah!” moment when they understand something for themselves.
Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing? What are some of your hobbies?
Wood working, spending time with family, playing computer and tabletop games, and spending time outdoors.
If you could have dinner with any famous person, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
George Washington. I want to understand his hopes and dreams for this country as well as to understand everything that he went through in his life.
If you could have a superpower, what would you want and why?
Strong telekinesis. So that I could help move cars or buildings off of people in danger, or prevent accidents from happening in the first place.
