National IT Managed Service Provider (MSP), Integris, has announced an expansion to their Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) program to small businesses across the country. The new offerings mean Integris clients will not only receive a Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) as part of their managed IT services but can now also opt-in to have a dedicated cybersecurity expert to take charge of managing and building a strong security reputation. Currently, Integris offers the vCISO service in the Northeast, but has expanded this offering to locations across the country amid the FTC’s decision to extend compliance deadlines due to a shortage of qualified information security personnel. As national regulations around cybersecurity continue to become more complex, the extended expertise of a vCISO has become a necessity for businesses across all industries.
“Integris is excited to extend vCISO services to clients across all regions who need guidance on security best practices. All members of our talented vCISO team are CISSP certified at the minimum. As regulations become more complex, businesses, no matter the size, need this expertise to truly be protected,” says Kris Laskarzewski, Chief Product Officer of Integris.
The core pillars of the Integris vCISO program include governance, risk evaluation and compliance. The service will be available for all existing and new managed or non-managed clients across all of Integris’ locations. With a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer, businesses will receive additional advising on security operations as well as managed technology governance.
