ATLANTA – October 12, 2018 – Integris®, a provider of IT support, strategy and services for small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofits, was a returning sponsor at Action Ministries’ 2018 Lifechanger’s Breakfast. Held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, the event celebrated the remarkable people and organizations that have become agents of positive change in Georgia, helping communities to THRIVE. Guests were treated to insights from a panel of influential women who have built careers in Atlanta, broken glass ceilings, and made a difference in their communities. Integris CEO Hamish Davidson and Solution Advisor Jed Fearon were present along with a few hundred other attendees who heard thoughtful discussions (and a healthy dose of light-hearted humor) around:

  • Cultivating an environment that attracts and grows diverse and high-performing leaders
  • Meeting business objectives by making local community involvement central to engagement with workplace, marketplace and society
  • Influencing local community impact while achieving success in your personal and/or professional lives

The panelists included Latanza Adjei, VP of Sales and Marketing at Georgia Power, Lisa Laube, Executive Vice President and CMO of Floor and Décor, DeRetta Cole Rhodes PhD, Executive Vice President and CHRO of the YMCA Metro Atlanta, Karen Robinson-Cope, Executive Vice President of NanoLumens, and serial tech entrepreneur, Wendy Stewart, Atlanta Market President and Co-Head of SE Global Commercial Banking, Bank of America, and Carol Yancey, Executive Vice President and CFO of Genuine Parts Co.
CEO Kelley Henderson delivered opening remarks that seemed to inspire most of the guests to make pledges with easy to use credit card processing devices. Each transaction triggered a pleasant, celebratory sound effect that elicited communal applause and cheers from guests. Henderson did an excellent job of putting the impact of a single $50 donation into context, “Fifty dollars can stop hunger for 33 local children, provide move-in supplies to a newly housed family and equip 5 children with smart savings skills.”
No Lifechanger’s Breakfast would be complete without the 2018 Life-Changer Awards. 2018 award recipients included Synovus Bank for Outstanding Business Partner, Tonya Powell for Outstanding Volunteer, Robert Hanson for Sustaining Partner and Andrew Emanuel Campbell for Outstanding Client.
“As the IT provider for Action Ministries, it’s nice to hear how much they are growing and impacting our community,” remarked Hamish Davidson of Integris. He went on to say, “They are doing incredibly important work and we are so grateful to be an extension of their team, supporting the mission.”
