Welcome back to our Team Highlight! Today, meet Bryan from Integris’ office in Wichita, Kansas.
Could you describe your role/what you do in 2-3 sentences?
Professional Service Manager – I lead a team of top-level folks, who upgrade, install, and migrate our customer’s legacy technology into newer, better, faster technology solutions. I provide the discovery and the team executes the concepts of the project(s) to the customer’s delight.
How did you become interested in your profession as a career?
IT- I have had many jobs across several roles and markets, and got interested in IT while working for an Oil and Gas distributor. I was tasked with taking two known technologies and merging both together for a single safe solution for oil rig work. The product was a great success for the company. It led to further work on other projects focusing on adapting practices and technologies from other markets into the oil and gas exploration markets. From there I dove head into computers/networks/cloud and have enjoyed each new challenging environment as it arrives to my desk.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
The work I accomplish is pretty good, but the team I work with is great! The Pro Service members are always willing to pitch in on the “fun” projects and the Reactive team members are a great source for learning more about the customer’s behaviors. The leadership team that I have been adopted into has been a great collaborative team that works together against the issue.
So to sum it up – My favorite part of the job is the friends and team members I get to work with every day.
Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing? What are some of your hobbies?
Well, I am pursuing several certifications at this point so not much time for hobbies.
I look forward to setting up the garden in the spring and enjoy spending time with my wife, my 4 kids, my dog, my hedgehog, and my wife’s $3 chickens.

What are some things you love about the place you currently live?
I live about 30 mins outside the huuuuge city of Wichita, KS. My small town has a great family feel. We are close enough to enjoy the nice restaurants and movie theatres, but just far enough away that you can leave your doors unlocked.
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
These days – Both.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
Personally: I look forward to taking my wife on our 20-year anniversary trip to Ireland. (not quite 10 years to go)
Professionally: I hope to continue working with and assisting team members in becoming better at what they do so a new tide can raise their boats.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Never stop learning and growing as a person
If you could have a superpower, what would you want and why?
Time Travel- I would like to go back and spend more time with my grandfather before he passed on.
