Welcome back to our Team Highlight! Today, meet Michelle out of Wichita.
Could you describe your role/what you do?
As Marketing Director I oversee the high-level management for most projects within the department. This includes a little bit of everything including developing marketing strategies for our products & services, maintaining a successful brand and image, executing in-person events and webinars, participating in developing our content strategy, improving communication, and integrating our new acquisitions. I review current marketing trends and help determine the effectiveness of ongoing strategies and work to optimize and improve those strategies.
What is the one thing that you wish other people knew about the work you do?
There are a lot of moving parts. We work across all departments along with interacting with clients, vendors and 3rd party consultants.
Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing? What are some of your hobbies?
I love being outside and active. I stay busy with hiking, biking, and paddle boarding, which is good, because I often follow my husband along on all his foodie adventures.
If you could have dinner with any famous person, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
Mother Teresa. I’d love to hear her talk about her life, her mission, and her love. She was such a shining star amount desolate sickness and poverty, but at the same time she was always joyful and grateful. This one little nun forever changed the world and left behind a beautiful legacy.
If you could have a superpower, what would you want and why?
Being able to truly listen and then saying the right thing that would make the greatest impact.
